Boondock Van Company was started by Ryan Kemmy, a former Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer. He built his first van in 2020 and hit the road full time with his wife Ellen and Wiener dog Boris across the US from East to West Coast. After living in their first van for one year they sold it and began outfitting vans full time.
The term “boondocking” in the RV and Van world means dispersed camping off the grid and in the wilderness. At Boondock Van Company we embody the boondocking lifestyle and build our vans to withstand the most rugged environments Mother Nature has to offer.
